Guess I need to catch up on the more recent CAC protocol.

Glad they still had room to fit 'CAC' on there twice.

What is there to catch up on? It's properly graded.

Bean was established as a brand designating quality of a narrow metric.

Seems to have been expanded to anything that can be slabbed.

No complaints, I just haven't been on top of the new full service schtick.

That’s their logo on the grading label.

That would be interesting indeed. 🤔

That’s their logo on the grading label, not a sticker on the holder. Still, I can understand the surprise and/or confusion it can cause.

    Amen.

How did the dealer/investors sign off on that label. It was confusing when it was introduced, obviously its still confusing now, and it will be confusing in the future. It does nothing to help CAC stickered coins and nothing to help CACG.

It's never too late to change up an unforced error.

CAC sticker is not CAC Grading. There is no bean on that slab, just a corporate logo.

Never used CAC, so not complaining, just want to be sure of what I believe. So as a coin that is graded by CAC wouldn't need a bean so their CAC holder is recognized as being approved by JA? Correct?

Sure looks like a bean. No adhesive, but the shape and color are all there.

So it means nothing now other than we are a player in the TPG game?

Yes. It's not a sticker. It's on the label. It is only the logo not a CAC sticker.

To my knowledge, CACG coins aren’t necessarily graded by J.A.

JA wasn't the finalizer for years

I buy what I like sticker or no sticker. Bowers said it best take the coin " on overall balance"

Bottom line - whether CACG or CAC sticker on PCGS or NGC coin, valuation (CDN) the same. Beyond that YMMV.
