Help with South Africa Token

Need some help with this one, googling POTC results in a lot of Pirates of the Caribbean hits. Anyway it's aluminum, the other side is blank. About the size of a quarter. Anyone have any idea of what it is and the value?

This Nobles auction listing from 2009 is for a bunch of miscellaneous South African tokens, It lists a token much like yours, except in brass, as being from the "Post Office Tea Club", and gives a catalogue reference as "Theron T.26".

"Theron" is "Tokens of Southern Africa and their History" by Dr G. P. Theron, published in 1978, considered the definitive work on South African tokens. If they've gone to the trouble of looking the token up in this book, then their interpretation of "POTC" is probably accurate.
