Looks funky to me, but I’m far from expert. @Sapyx thoughts?

I'm BACK!!! Used to be Billet7 on the old forum.

The hair looks "too good" to me - there's not even a trace of wear, which given the amount of wear on the other side, seems improbable - perhaps the hair has been tooled, or perhaps it's an outright fake; either way, I'm getting little sirens going off in my head.

Waste no more time arguing what a good man should be. Be one.

Thank you @Sapyx, that was my main concern. I had someone from a reputable coin shop look at it and he said it was good, but I think there’s something going on, I’m going to return the piece

  • I got the coin now here are a couple of new photos from the actual item

  • Ok… it weighs 3.6g, it tests positive for silver on the Sigma PMV (pre-1900 only but not on the middle of the brackets). Diameter is about 19mm just a hair under

Like others who have commented I just don't like the look of it. I'm no expert on these but if offered to me I would pass.
