My First Pillar Coin Peru 1757 1 Real

I've been collecting a long time but have never owned a pillar. Guess that has changed now :D

My photos aren't great. The coin looks a bit sharper in hand.

Peace

    This is a nice coin and in great condition and to find it raw is way better for me.
    Some time ago, when I bought the coin shown below and ended up marked as details when I sent it for grading, and then sold it for way less than I paid for it.

    it was a NGC graded AU58 for about $700 bucks. But I do not buy graded coins, prefer to buy them raw and go to all the process of sending them to be graded.

    Also, what is the white part on the N from VNUM and on the 5 from the date.is that paint left?

    Or it is just the light?;

    I own that coin now, it cost me $650. I think it’s a very nice piece, I would buy any coin that shows up like this. Full of luster and some color, a smidge darker than some. I think it’s the same anyway.

    Cool - I rounded up it was at $$649.99 - Did you saw back then also the 1R from Guatemala 1759-G with three punches raw.

    Glad that you bought it!

    By punches do you mean holes? I believe so.

    I collected the Yonaka book today too.! Makes everything much easier than scrolling through a PDF (which Brad is still selling at a reasonable price).

    Peace
