Coin collection software reccomendation

Hi everyone,

I've found that current coin collection software solutions can be quite confusing to use. Software like Liberty Street requires a steep learning curve. Can anyone recommend a simpler software solution?

I use Google sheets. Accessible from anywhere you have internet. Technically, your most recent files will be automatically saved offline so internet is optional.

It's pretty impressive what you can do with sheets. I have it grab latest live gold and silver prices and calculate the price of all my bullion right in the sheet.

Here's what my Morgan checklist looks like:

Star in the first column denotes me having that coin. Red "R" denotes a rare and expensive coin that I still need, Blue denotes a coin that I have or need but it will be an AU coin. Other columns are self explanatory. In blue is my progress bar.

I too, use the free Google Sheets. My MS Office Suite subscription ran out so all those old files I created are useless unless I took them to a computer that had the right software.

I like creating these, but they are time consuming. A good record for family to use should I depart this sweet life sooner than expected. It provides a ballpark figure should they want to liquidate.

I used to teach computer applications in high school so, I have a solid background to rely on.

  • I find CoinManage by Liberty Street extremely easy to use and robust - I highly recommend it.
Sure, there's a little bit of learning as far as what buttons do what, but they have a ton of youtube videos.
