I picked up this 1853 N-33 for $59 all in on Ebay today. The Gold Shield holder and variety attribution are $60 making the actual coin a freebie! Even better it's a nice looking LC and will be a welcome addition to my Late Date Newcomb Variety set. Let me know what you think of the coin and the deal.

I see it a similar way with token collecting, which are even more expensive to slab. A $50 token may run you $80 at the plastic factory
