Spooned Peace Dollar?

This came in a small collection I just picked up. Am I correct in assuming this is a spooned dollar that didn’t get finished? I guess it’s only worth silver value now.

By the amount of spooning, I would say someone started to make a ring that never got finished.
As you say worth it’s weight in silver now.
It might be fun to finish it.
Looks like the quarter that I did not finish.
Is a silver-cutting hole saw something a tool guy would have? The plug would be neat to play with.
Don't think I've ever seen a spooned peace dollar. Pretty neat.

Reminds me of those chunky Austrialian high relief 1oz silver coins.
Could find someone to finish it if they wanted for themselves
Someone must have some big hands.
Anyone ever see a gold coin spooned?
Circ common Peace Dollars are not worth much more than melt. This is kind of cool and would probably bring a bit of a premium.
