    I did read it. I'm shocked at how civil it has stayed.

    Usually a thread like that will devolve into some blend of calls for capital punishment for theft/robbery and lamentations about the state of crime enforcement.

    Curious about the opinions that would be expressed if the exact same thing had happened in either (for example) San Francisco or Dallas.

    this theft reminds me of the thefts that are common in parts of European cities where there a lot of gypsies, it's the timeless snatch-n-run, I never heard of anyone getting hurt or even threatened, seems possible that they thought it was ordinary tourist luggage, not something worth megabucks, I feel sorry for Dr. Kagin
