    Sometimes the lighting catches these just right (in a bad way) and if so I'll venture a guess of MS65.

    MS 62 - (face, numerous substantial marks. Unattractive coin imo. Would not be surprised if 61.

    Really nice luster though.

    What's the point of these GTG threads for coins as common as dirt unless the TPG missed by more than 3 points either way?

    While I tend to agree with your suggestion, I mean a Washington quarter at 63 or 64, does it matter really? I don’t know if it does where the actual market of coins is, the bread and butter of collectors is often putting a set together in their price range and from quality amongst so many graded the same. One of the fun things about the hobby is that 10 coins same grade put out in front of 10 different collectors will never result (generally speaking) in all 10 picking the same coin.

    While these types of coins are not my “cup of tea” I do think encouraging people to post and be active in the community with what they collect is an overall positive for the hobby.
