Extremely Rare 1838 GB Shilling Variety

This coin recently - yesterday - sold at Noonan’s. It is designated as an A3/A1 mule (meaning 3rd obverse, first reverse) and as a “no WW” for William Wyon initials at truncation of bust. A very nice specimen indeed. Perhaps would have been MacCrimmon approved.
This type is known for 1839 and not mentioned in Davies, Spink, or Krause. None show in Heritage, London Coins archives though is in the ESC catalogue as: ESC 1278A. Bull citation in error.

    1700 pounds plus the considerable juice - 2160....
