Not sure if this qualifies as crusty, but it sure is gnarly. And I no longer own it as I couldn’t sleep at night with it in my collection, so I sold it.
Wow - amazing Zongolica piece! Doesn't get much gnarlier than that! Let me know if you have any other War for Independence pieces that trouble your slumber (though I may need a second mortgage if they're of that caliber...)

Just received this Buelna-Carrasco
or "sand cast" peso! The PCGS picture is better than what my phone could take. I thought this was an especially nice one since the original coin used to make the mold can be identified.
