FSH: 1923 NGC MS64 Peace Dollar with some nice peripheral toning

A lustrous near-gem with lovely, light toning on the obverse. The toning is strongest at the periphery, with faint hues of lavender and gold in the central region of the coin, forming a faint skin that isn't quite white. The color is best seen directly illuminated, and with the coin moved around in the light to illuminate specific areas. The reverse has frosty lustre with some faint golden color around much of the periphery and a hint of steel blue inside that. No, this is not a monster toned coin, but it is quite appealing, especially for a series which is rarely seen with attractive color.
