A Coin Collector Needs to Collect Coins

"I’ve always believed in building several coin sets at once to allow a multitude of options. I like to suggest building what I might call an “advanced” collection and then a “play money” collection, so to speak."

“Play money” coin sets are much less challenging and involve less-expensive PCGS-graded coins. One could go several months without locating a single rare coin for their concurrent high-grade PCGS sets, but they can almost always find a really nice PCGS- graded coin (or three) for their “play money” set(s). While there’s much to be said about completing a nice PCGS Registry Set, the often long and winding road of building it is just as fun.
