Santiago de Chile 1785

Unfortunately it has been cleaned when it was found ! Or it will be a nice muchacha!

It is anyway... very rare date. Actually surprised to see (5) pieces graded at NGC - the one better piece is an AU58 (no straight grades at PCGS and no census of "details" coins)... I find only (3) examples offered at auction since 2010 or so. Guess that makes sense, strong collector base for Chile material... being held tightly.

    Alrighty then!

I think I have another piece of this date in my collection. Maybe with chopmarkes.

Very scarce. I concur with @realeswatcher , I have only seen 3 examples offered at auction.

@chica , is that your coin?

A coin that still has considerable appeal in spite of the cleaning. The cleaning seems to have been very carefully done.

If the grade doesn’t fit, you must resubmit 😂
