There are many eBay sellers who are major, respected dealers. A new collector can find them by searching for their website, where the same coin might be listed at a reduced price.

    1. each Ebay seller handles different kinds of coins, so what’s a “poll” for?

    2. also, many folks on here have favorite sellers that from to time they get REALLY good deals from, so they’re not inclined to make that seller’s name public.

30+ years coin shop experience (ret.) Coins, bullion, currency, scrap & interesting folks. Loved every minute!

Just name sellers you've found to be consistently forthright in their dealings.

    Sheesh. ;)

Big Bear Coin & Collectibles is a solid eBay seller.

The substantial truth doctrine is an important defense in defamation law that allows individuals to avoid liability if the gist of their statement was true.

I recommend me. I've never received an item faster than when I bought it from myself, and my internal communication was top notch every time.

Do you have two accounts for your shill bidding? (just kidding, but it seems some sellers do)

Why not just have a "name your favorite coin store" thread? Most dealers cross-list their inventory on ebay. The ebay feedback give you insight into their transaction history. What more do you need?

Unfortunately in this industry, unless you are looking to "hire" a dealer to source a coin for you (and even then it will vary by which coin/series you are seeking), you have to buy the coins where you find them.

Hykyrone3 did well for me on a deal. Probably the only thing I have bought from eBay in years . That was in 2020 so I am not sure if they are still in business.

How about all the Ebay sellers I wouldn't recommend......................
1st would be all that don't answer email questions about their coins
2nd would be the sellers that put up useless photos
    and on and on and.................
    vent over
    Thanks
