I noticed earlier that I had posted a picture of a coin I own that is the same date and grade as someone else. His coin even has a green CAC sticker. However, my coin has way better details remaining. Which coin is graded correctly?
My coin. Never been to CAC, I bought it raw and sent it to PCGS.
The other coin. Posted with the owner's permission.

Yours has a strong reverse. The discrepancy may be due to the TPGs giving more weight when grading not the obverse than the reverse.

I like the CAC coin better.
Personal opinion based on MY tastes.
A: The year they spend more on their library than their coin collection.
A numismatist is judged more on the content of their library than the content of their cabinet.
Hard for me to tell, but I think TDave's coin would garner a bean as well.
Both.
One has a stronger obverse than the other and the same with the reverse. I think the one with the stronger obverse wins the day (the CAC'd one).
Louis Armstrong
They both look like 8's that would CAC. One with stronger obverse, one with stronger reverse. But the overall "look" for both is VG, and the rims are not complete enough on either to be VG10 imo.
I like them both and would lean toward the OP’s coin. Both look to be correctly graded.
Thanks for the comments.
I like the non -CAC better.
In my opinion the non-CAC coin has a stronger obverse than the beaned coin. The curls are stronger and a trace of Liberty's eye seems to remain. The reverse is stronger as well, as noted by others. If the ear had more detail I would grade it VG10 but it's not quite there. VG08+ but I like the surfaces on the beaned coin better.
