Forgive this off topic thread. I'll have a giveaway when I get back.

Anyone know of a good hotel near O'Hare? We need to stay one night, July 25th between flights. TIA.

Most of the Rosemont hotels are OK. And most have a free shuttle to/from ORD.

I’ve stayed at the Marriott, Crowne Plaza, Renaissance, and ALoft. I’d recommend them all, except the ALoft can be noisy due to the younger crowd partying at night.

We stayed at the Marriott Suites O'Hare on our Honeymoon back in the last century.

I'm sure they've added some fresh coats of paint, new bedding and new flooring since then! ;-)

Plus, they comped our room because the initially assigned room had played host the previous night to a local bachelor party or some such and they had totally trashed the room !!! Hey, housekeeping!!!

...................... things you'll never forget. On second thought, maybe skip the Marriot.

    19th C Mac?

Our flight gets into ORD at 9:30 PM and our flight to BUF IS AT 8:30 AM the next day. In my younger days I would have spent the night in the airport.

    Thanks @pruebas for the info.

The Hilton is directly within O'Hare's perimeter and a good choice as well - I've stayed there several times during the same type of layover as you.

Embassy Suites is also nice. I haven’t stayed there but did attend the happy hour with folks who were. ;)

There should be a hotel shuttle correct?

You shouldn't need a shuttle from the Hilton: it connects directly to the terminals (it's outside of security but a quick walk underground between them):
