The 1834 N-5 Variety is listed as Large 8, Large Stars and Medium Letters. This variety is seen with a weak upper obverse and lower reverse. A light obverse die crack is also seen through the stars and date.

This is a very rare coin in high grade. While NGC gives this coin an AU Details with Environmental Damage, the corrosion is very light. Check the auction records, it is nearly impossible to find an example this nice. R7 in AU.

The white diagonal scratches are reflections off the plastic holder.
