Both give you 66 points. ( one point added for the RB on the 65). which would you choose to place in your registry set?
I am thinking the 66 BN because your GPA would be higher. Anyone agree with me?

For me it would depend on the coin. there are 65RB's I pick over 66BN's and 66BR's I'd pick over 65RB's.
I would choose the one I like best
I think what the OP is asking is , both coins being equal in apperence wise
The 66BN will give you a higher rating if the 66BN is the same points as a 65RB
BUT
most sets will give you an extra point for RB and mabe 2 points for RD, I'm talking Lincoln sets here
what set are talking about because they could be different

One factor in this decision is how much red is in the RB coin?
An RB coin must have at least 5% red to get that suffix, and isn’t categorized with a RD suffix until it has at least 95% red.
I have many RB coins in my collection, and among other factors, I would only buy an RB coin if it seems like it has at least somewhere around 65% or more red!

They both give you 66 points in the set rating calculation , but the 66 BN. will give you a very small higher GPA.
depends on what scores you are competing . The RB will probably sell for more. BN's in my experience are not so much popular, but they have much more stable surfaces and most likely have a stronger strike than a red one.
This I learned from the recently desease NGC expert David Lange. Full strike clossy brown coppers are in my opinion a very choice coin an may be better looking than a flat Red one., but will probably sell for less, but connosuers appreciate such knowledge.

My pick would be the one with the best eye appeal.
