Sorta like a partial Dansco 7070… but with a twist… and without the actual album…

And now, for something completely different”, as the Monty Pythons used to say…

It’s not really an album, per se- but it’s in that spirit. Nor is it quite completed, just yet.

(I wonder what I’ll do with it when that happens. Hmm. 🤔)

But it’s moving along, slowly, and I thought I’d share a peek at it. :)

Are you looking for a With Motto seated liberty quarter? Because I have one, 1877 VG with hole in the middle. I don't know if that's what you would want though.

Wish I hadn’t sold that 1839-O holed half back in college for $40 to buy textbooks. It would’ve been an honor to see it up on that wall!

I do need one, it seems. But I try to avoid “hole in the middle” coins as well as multi-holed pieces. I tend to prefer one smallish, tidy hole at 12:00-ish on the obverse, if given a choice. Thanks.

That’s a great set, I’m wondering what you’ll end up doing with it. Some kind of semi-permanent display? 🤔

Very much nice! Enjoying both the coins and the manner of display.

(Looking past the inclusion of 1798 in a 19th Century set... )

You’re right, I should get a 19th century Draped Bust cent when I upgrade. I just happen to have a thing for 1798 cents, and had that one lying around.

We have, once or twice, in bygone years. H&C’s collection has always blown mine out of the water.

    Nice set.

A cool idea would be to get some of the silicone (or whatever material is in a slab) rings and sandwich them between two sheets of clear acrylic. Then you could see both sides; kinda like a giant slab in itself.
