I tell them I'm using an alt account and people seem to ignore me.
Numismatist = coin collectors? That’s a maybe at best. Good of you to change the title.

I don't sell coins anymore after my big score. I sold a fake American Gold Eagle to some ignorant collector who messaged me on Craigslist. Easiest $2300 I ever made!

When are you going to start your own grading service? I suggest starting off with a stickering service first. There are a lot of collectors who don't know how to grade coins or don't trust their abilities to grade coins so your service should do well.

Does anyone remember back in the late 60’s a coin shop in NYC on 59 street further west than Stack’s that I believe was named True Value? They did exactly this and graded their coins by their own terminology. The one that stands out to me was AC (average circulated). I don’t remember the others at this moment.

A wise wholesale dealer once taught me that arriving at a price is the important thing.
Arguing about ‘grade’ is just a waste of breath.
30+ years coin shop experience (ret.) Coins, bullion, currency, scrap & interesting folks. Loved every minute!
Arguing about price can be just as big of a waste of breath. Many, if not most buyers must believe that a coin is a particular grade in order to be willing to pay a given price.

Apparently some folks on the board think Koinsarefun is one of the many aliases of an individual who repeatedly gets banned. I have no direct knowledge of this.
But an interesting clue I picked up: anagramming OP's handle results in "FAKERS UNION". Coincidence?
Anyway, grades for non coin collectors can be whatever you want, in whatever language one devises. Orcish? Borg? Ig-Pay Atin-Lay? This is how one makes a non-collector remain a non-collector. Sigh
