Between the Red Sox taking 2 and the Orioles on the verge of taking their 3 rd game today they won't want to see the American League east to soon again. I was hoping they could beat the Orioles but they are no contest for them.

Theyre currently missing Realmuto and Turner. Turner is expected to be activated tomorrow but its going to be a while for Realmuto

ALSO the Dodgers bought all that talent this year and are not doing what was expected of them. dont usually spend this much time watching the National League but this year I am and are. I am surprised to see the Dodgers not running away with it this year. Is it injuries?

At least the fans are getting a nice aeronautics show with that F35 doing loops over the stadium.

For the Dodgers a lot of their money is tied up in a couple players and the fake salary of Othani. Mookie and Othani are like 1/3rd of the number and it gets over half when you include Yamamoto and Freeman. But yea they have a ton of injuries particularly with pitching. Theyre missing Kershaw, May isnt back yet from TJ last year, Joe Kelly and Brusardar Graterol are both out, Yamamoto just went on the DL yesterday as well. Buheler is coming back from his second TJ surgery and likely isnt an ace anymore, its very rare to not have a significant drop off after the second one. Muncy isnt a huge loss but hes been out too. Their pitching staff has been brutalized between injuries this year and carry over injuries from last year.

Hopefully the Braves lose today, and the Phillies don't lose any ground in the standings.

Betts now done for for the Dodgers. Broken bone in the wrist. Those take forever to get back on the field much less the power back
