Spent about 2 hrs taking photos of this proof coin. Moved the lights everywhere. Different angles, diffusion, etc.
these are the best I’ve come up with 😅.

That Lincoln looks silver. It looks different in a cool way.

It sure does. The coin itself does have a silver like appearance on high points which is really weird. Diffusion to minimize hot spots makes it look even more silver 😅

Almost completely silver. Silver toning is more prominent on high or top surfaces of the coin.
I find I have to use a dark filter (forget what it's called - polarizing?) for proof coins on my setup... Otherwise the reflections are impossible to control.
The clarity is great imo! If you have some broader lighting sometimes having another general light source that isn't as direct can help with overall lighting up the coin features.
