    I don't really see what the big deal is about this trade. I don't like Vin Baker, and he's a lazy player. I agree, bad deal for the Celtics.

    Nah, he's just over-weight and lazy. I think if he lost some pounds, then he'd be a player like he was a couple years back. Here's a guy who used to average 21 points per game, and was a premier PF in the league. Now, he's turned into nothing but a lazy ass.

    celtics did a godo move.

    they unloaded off kenny anderson who sucks and cant shoot and has a big contract as well even tho its in his final yr. vitaly just sucks. who cares?

    they only gave up forte for a much needed big man and a young pg who can play. forte is a sg by the way so he wasnt the solution.

    All the Celtics need to win a Championship is a 3rd scorer...and neither of these saps are the answer...hopefully they will get someone else or Kedrick Brown will have to step up big next year..

    u telling me that kenny anderson, forte, vitaly can score?

    and that vin baker, shammond scores lesser than those guys? come on. shammond is a scoring pg and we all know that.

    Forte is a pure scorer..thats his game...Kenny Anderson scoring is what kept the Celtics in the playoffs...vin Baker cant score anymore..plain and simple

    It was more of a salary cap move.. Maybe they will go after Andre Miller now?? But Shammond Williams is awesome if giving playing time, he can score... Baker is a big body down low, even if he doesn't score, he still will help on defense and rebounding...

    Anderson is SOL now in Seattle.. He will play behind still one of the bests in the game in Gary Payton.. they couldnt keep Rodney White so they needed another big man.. Im sure Walker & Pierce wont mind the extra shots...
