How muck “stuff” is on your desk?

VetterVetter Posts: 854 ✭✭✭✭✭

I just spent today going through my desk of coins that I’ve accumulated over the years that don’t have anything to do with my current collecting focus. Holly crap, I figure I have over $1000 in just silver and coins I have no interest in. How did it build up so quickly? My only concern is do I keep it and continue to build or sell it and use the money to ad an additional coin to my collection.
What’s on your desk?

Nothing to be honest. My OCD would never let it get to that point. I have a couple of small boxes in the closet with ongoing coin projects, such as submissions being assembled to go out, and then my PCGS slab boxes which are kept in a secure offsite location. At most, maybe a couple or three slabs recently-ish delivered and awaiting transport out to the join their brothers.

As I’ve gotten a little bit older I don’t really buy anything that isn’t for one specific purpose or to fill a slot. If I trade and it comes with excess I part it out asap. Again - the OCD at work.

Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.
