Came in a WW2 veteran estate, so I'm guessing post ww2 occupation. Assuming not too valuable due to condition but just confirming. Thanks for the help.

Japanese Occupation of the Philippines in WW2. Pick # 103a. My 7th edition lists the value for this note in VG as 5 cents.
These notes, aka Japanese Invasion Money (or JIM for short), were issued in 1942. Trouble is: many thousand weren't released (were extremely unpopular amongst locals) so thousands (boxes) remained in storage. Bricks (1000) have been auctioned off & you could buy a stack & get UNC for pennies a piece (up to about 5 years ago). Now they're about $1.00 for UNC on eBay. Here's Numista's entry on your 5 Centavos example.

Thanks everyone. Confirms what I thought.
