about your "whale" buyer
- the type of neighborhood they live in
- the house they're currently residing
- the current market value of their house
- # of brs, baths, etc?
It is obvious I have too much time on my hand & is curious/nosy.
I do from time to time google one of my customer's address.
This one stands out
- 5 br
- 6 ba
- 4,358 sq ft
- Market value $1.3 million
You could buy a shack for that money in SO CA

Personal note to self: don't buy anything from @mikee999.
Yikes man, I know I've said in the past that I don't like it when people delete their posts, but I would actually recommend you delete this one. What you've described sounds borderline stalkerish to me...

Never Mikey, but I will file it that you do
You forgot what kind of alarm system they have and the combination to their safe.
Holy S*** , that is really easy stuff to look up w/ exact figures like that. Yikes.
Yes I have complete work ups on every coin buyer worth over 5 mil
BHNC #248 … 130 and counting.
Not really, perhaps sometimes. What is important is are they still interested in collecting and buying.
For all one knows they could be running a cartel. I thought that a possibility with one big spender over a few shows at this one location. His business was a key factor in that show’s success. He reminded me of that drug lord in Mexico in the TV series Ozark. A nice big spender guy to do business with - once you understood his angle (x pct off what he was looking for) then smooth operation.
I know this buyer very well. He is a dealer buying from me & others, and taking them to coin shows to retail buyers.
In that case good for him and I wish him the best of success.
No, but I do ask my customers (whale or minnow) how they found me. When they say , "I Googled you", I always laugh and tell them I'm googlish " ><> ><> ><>.

No. This way of thinking might be a skinny guy thing. Us big belly guys are too busy eating and signing up for self defense classes.
Having fun while switching things up and focusing on a next level PCGS slabbed 1950+ type set, while still looking for great examples for the 7070.
Click bait title, once again.
Jeez, another "pull my finger" or "check deep inside my front pocket" thread started by the usual suspect.

I currently live in and own a 1 bedroom 1 bath condo, what does that make me?
I do pretty darn good IMHO.
I live in a cardboard box by the river, nothing to see here…
