On reverse, below the star, there is what looks like
two small d’s.

    Just damage from contacting another coin. Probably from the bag they were shipped in.
    Also please do not use screen shots, they are too pixilated to see detail clearly.

    Mint errors occur at the mint during the minting process. Once that process ends, anything that happens to the coin that changes its appearance is considered post-mint damage (PMD).

    When you're looking at an unusual coin, assume it isn't a mint error, as the reason errors command premiums over face value is because they are rare. Thus, most of the unusual-looking coins you find are not going to be genuine errors. Then go thru the minting process and see if what you're seeing could have happened during that process.

    Once you understand those, ask yourself what part of those processes could have produced what you see on your coin.
