A gift and cool label.

A friend of mine gave me a couple Canadian Large Cents. The coins are nothing special but what I found to be cool is the old labeling on the envelope. I don't know the age but it is old.

    Well, it looks like not very many folks think that the old manila coin folder writing is neat, like you and I do.

    The only thing that would make it cooler would be actually knowing the provenance of the envelopes, if they were from a specific collector or dealer.

    That IS neat. Looks 19th century? But did they actually have little square coin envelopes in the late 19th century? 🤔

    Surely turn of the century or pre-WW1, at any rate, if I’m to continue idly speculating, here.
