1964-D Jefferson Nickel RPM

Needing some help with the identification of this RPM looks a lot like the FS-501 but I'm not confident in calling it. Any help would be great.

There is a fair chance that it is FS-501 but I would not say highly likely until you post shot(s) with lighting from the bottom of the mint mark (and preferably also from the front of it) that are both in total darkness in those pictures.

Agreed, except the areas in shadow are the ones most important for a S/S like the FS-501. With a turn of the coin he can get what he needs. But being a mind reader, let me guess you are traveling for work and don't have it with you. ;)
