Was looking at high grade Lincolns on GC and saw this 1960-D small date. Are these die polish lines in the fields?

If they are raised lines they will be die poiish lines.

they do look raised on magnification. Pretty interesting that they stand out so much.

Yup. The die polish is pretty obvious in the Great Collections photo.

I was just looking at a roll of 1960-D SDs in XF-AU pulled from change and wondering what to do with them.

Apparently die polish lines don't affect the grade, happened in the mint before the coin was struck...
