I picked up a couple really neat medals this week and wanted to offer them here.

I'm asking $150 delivered for the WW1 large bronze plaque.
I'm asking $200 delivered for the Paris Olympiad piece.

WWI DEAD MAN'S PENNY BRONZE MEMORIAL DEATH PLAQUE. - 82mm
Large bronze memorial plaque to also referred to as "The dead man's penny" or "widow's penny". These were given to the wives of or next of kin by the British government beginning in 1916 as a remembrance for soldiers killed in battle in the first World War 1914-1918. The inscription reads, "He died for Freedom and Honor".

This one is dedicated to private Thomas Herdman Snowdan -
He was a Canadian infantry soldier and only 29 years old. Born in 1886, he was an architect in Vancouver, Canada. He signed up for service in 1914 and died at war April 24th, 1916.

(Peace dollar noted for size)

...
Participation Medal issued for the Paris 1924 Summer Olympics. Bronze, 55 mm, 72 gram, by Raoul Benard.
Front features a raised depiction of the goddess Nike crowning victorious athletes with laurel wreaths; the reverse bears a city view of Paris and raised text, “VIIIe Olympiade, Paris, 1924,” with the designer’s monogram below and stamped bronze on the edge.

Here's something you don't see every day... Consecutively numbered JM 2oz bars in their original plastic.
8 of them in total.
005226, 005527, 005528, 005529, 005530, 005531, 005532 & 005533
These are the rarer of 2 known versions with the blank mirror reverse - Allenglehard lists them as less than 5000 mintage.

I'd prefer to sell them as a group. but would also break into two groups of 4.
I'm asking $150 each, All 8 for $1200 - 4 of them would be $600.
This is roughly $50 less per bar than the few sold listings found on ebay so there is still some profit to be made if you'd like to let a few of them go...
