I know this might look like a negative thread given the current situation, but it really truly is not meant to be, I just noticed, looking at some of my older coins that were photographed prior to the departure of some staff, how exceptional the true views really were! I know some are better than others, so this thread is to show off the ones that you really like the best!
So let’s see them!

I have many, but for now I’ll just start off with this one. It’s my most recent purchase that has a TrueView.

I’ll probably add more in order of most recent to oldest. It’s easier to find them in my phone that way.

MS70 First Strike.
Phil actually sent me an email to let me know the difficulty in capturing the beauty of this high relief $20 gold coin.
Compare that to this (from my submission that posted 2 days ago) - I think white balance is off even on gold:
60 seconds in photoshop.
"It's like God, Family, Country, except Sticker, Plastic, Coin."
This is one of my all-time faves. Phil had the advantage of shooting raw, to get this look in the slab, you would have to have the lamp glare right over the coin so can't do. Great image for sure.
Compare to mine in the slab below, you can get the nice surfaces but can't get the lights at the right angle as noted above to capture the color:
This Quarter Eagle has subtle red toning that's accurately depicted in the image. Purchased raw when gold was ~$1250/oz...
This 8R is a Chop Marked VF... I wanted one with "character"
MS63 and every little die break and imperfection is accurately depicted
Accurate color... both obverse and reverse...

Can you please edit the photo in the cert verification for me?
Dark copper can be a challenge to photograph accurately. PCGS did a nice job capturing this coin's true nature:
We all know about TVs that wildly overplay a coin's color. In these cases, they didn't do so and the coins do look like these photos in hand:
"Got a flaming heart, can't get my fill"
I absolutely love this coin. The reverse shows up really nice the obverse needs to be turned to show the colors. This definetly a glamor shot but the coin looks just as nice in hand.
It's also an MS66PL
I am amazed at the preservation of this coin. I know it's not the finest known but to me it may as well be.

This is easy. My one and only coin which I submitted for a TrueView:
Let me dig up one or two…
Working backwards, of course.
These two were actually submitted together in November so it’s possible these are from after Phil left, I’m not really sure but if they are, they happened to do these ones decently, I really can’t tell on these. Everything else I have is prior to that. And is undoubtably the better quality work.

The more I look at it, they have that brighter look, I think these are after he left. If so, these are acceptable to me at least…

These show the coin in-hand very well
This photo does a nice job hiding some light hairlines, but I had to offset the orange by adding blue
Nice job hiding some scuffing and reflective surfaces on this EF40. It makes the AU50 above it in Coin Facts look bad.
Cool, springfield ma is just up the road from me so thanks for sharing 👍
