The divot on George’s nose on this Kanaka’ole quarter puzzles me.
It comes from a roll of circulated quarters, so I cannot rule out PMD.
It is the location where we see many die chips.
if it is evidence that a die was tidied up, I am confused. Thanks.

Since the nose profile edge is intact, I'm thinking planchet flaw. Standing by for others.

If its raised then it would be a die issue. On my small screen it looks incuse. A struck-thru?

Can’t be a die chip if it is incuse. As there does not appear to have any displaced metal,
I would say it is a small Struck Through

Yes, it is incuse. Thanks, strike through did not enter my mind.
