Is this 1921 Morgan worth submitting to PCGS for grading? Possibly proof-like...

I've had this coin for many years and always thought it was proof-like. I was looking at it last night and noticed how strongly struck it was. Coinfacts said that 21 Morgans are usually weakly struck, so I wanted opinions as to whether it would be worth submitting. I know it would not grade higher that 62-63 if it were to grade at all. It is very difficult to photograph, as it is very reflective.

1921 Morgans are low ticket items in general. I would keep it raw & just enjoy it.

Agreed , but interestingly enough a 1921 Morgan in PCGS 63 Gold CAC sold for $1800 in a Facebook auction recently. It had some mirror like tendencies, but people were bidding on it as if it were a full PL. I was rather shocked until I looked at the PL price guide.

If you think it’s got a good shot, go for it. That coin looks better than 63 to me. 1921 Morgans seem to be graded more leniently for some reason. They are tough on PL though, but a 63PL is a $500 coin so there’s plenty of upside if you think it’s close.

+1
Halo effect around the obverse letters tells me it's been polished/whizzed.

Based on the photos, that’s what it looks like to me as well.
Cleaned. Details grade. .77oz of silver is all.

IMO polished and some irritating scratches on the nose and forehead
Put me in the polished camp as well.

I know what a whizzed coin looks like, and it's definitely not whizzed. It may have been lightly wiped at some point in the last 103 years, but it's not been polished either. The picture does make it look worse than it does in hand. Thanks for the opinions and maybe I will send it in with my next sub just to see how it grades.
Yes, polished.
Of course we obviously don't have the advantage of having it in hand as you do... it just has a polished look from the pics. Good luck on the sub.

I think it has been lightly burnished/polished.
eBay fodder, in my book. Probably bring around $40-$50 in a $.99 auction. It's just not worth submitting ( to me ).
