Same cert# that sold on Ebay relisted same day by same seller

Was following this card Ebay item #135055193899 that sold on 5-18. Same seller relisted same card Ebay item #135065419362 on 5-18. Cert #66206273 the same on both listings. No bid retractions on original listing. Any thoughts on how this could happen?

Could be seller cancelled the auction or it was shill bidding or buyer didn’t pay. Can you provide a link to the auctions? If only because it makes it easier to find in the app vs web.

It appears the seller moved several different Ohtani's, and the relisted item was likely a cancelled purchase.

    Gobble.

Shill bidding. Seller didn't cancel the auction.> @ElMagoStrikeZone said:

Yes, exactly. I see what the underbidder did on the prior auction. Hence, the cancellation.

    Gobble.

Some buyers request to cancel immediately because they either can’t pay or changed their mind. It’s happened to me several times

shill bidding. rampant. just bid what you can pay. or negotiate a buy it now.

Work hard and you will succeed!!

The winning bidder was probably bogus or asked to cancel (now whether it was the seller shilling, can't say that), but if you delete the winning bidder's bids, then the price goes down to $500, so I'm sure that is why it was relisted.
