    Bullion is a no-nonsense-quick-easy-sale
    but....
    Numismatic coins are far more interesting. :)

    Bullion is very liquid, and it might be easier to just sell that first and get the cash to shop for what you want. With that said, many dealers will accept gold bullion in payment for more expensive coins. You just want to make sure you're not selling yourself short, as most trades tend to favor the dealer.

    In general and for most folks, the easiest and most efficient way to move from one area (numismatic) to another (bullion) is simply to sell what you don't want and buy what you do want.
