Need help jefferson nickel

Bought a small parcel of coins this jefferson was in their over sized curios how they did this. still a lot of detail left on this coin please chime in

Likely a Texas cent (or nickel in this case). You can google it but basically if you take a cent and place it between two pieces of leather then hammer it you end up with a larger than normal size cent with minimal or no damage to the design. I think I remember that this was done with cents to fool vending machines, but I'm not certain on that.

There is no way for that to happen when the coin was struck so it had to happen
after the nickel left the mint. As Coinbuf states, it has been pounded to increase the size.
Notice the weight is the same weight as a normal nickel. It is considered damage.
It sure is well done though. No distortion.
That would be a cool coin to own.
