Tons of whizzed coins in that auction.

Please post the lot numbers of the whizzed coin lots.

I don't know Marc Langston but it's unfair to falsely disparage his auction.

Those who think that Newbies who want to think that they have something valuable are trolls are missing the trolls already here who are doing real damage.

False and disparaging comments about other coin dealers are over the line, IMHO.

Collector and dealer in obsolete currency. Always buying all obsolete bank notes and scrip.

Maybe lots 8 and 9 are what he's talking about??? Although they are listed as "cleaned" so even that isn't a problem.

Edited to add: did this really need a second thread just to call or a fellow forum member?

Why are you challenging OP? He might go back to the Currency forum. Also, blitzdude might accuse you of being forum police. Crossing a lot of lines here. ;)

@Clackamas1 has strong opinions but he knows coins. I'd take his word sight unseen on almost any coin.

I know you are kidding, but it's also true.

Then why is Clack acting like a troll? If he knows coins then he is demonstrating troll behavior as there aren't ANY whizzed coins in this auction. Ditto for @Lermish. What an attitude from these childish individuals. If you have zero to contribute, kindly keep your mouth shut.

Again, some like to jump all over Newbies who want to think that they have a find but Clack and Lermish cannot control their troll instincts. And Clack trashes Marc Langston's auction business, too?

It's not my intent to attack another member but pointing out bad behavior is within bounds. And trashing another dealer is against the rules here, isn't it? Bad behavior in my book.

I'm done here for today and have already contributed to the currency board this morning.

Perhaps I am childish. I can own that. Can you acknowledge that you are infuriatingly pompous and self-important? It seems like every post you make is like handing down an edict from on high. How about you keep your mouth shut until you stop thinking your opinion carries some sort of gravitas?

Although I agree with most of what you posted, i don’t understand why you started a new thread on the topic, rather than including the above in the original thread. If nothing, else, that would have been more efficient and less likely to cause confusion.

The lighting and cellophane on the coins appear to give many well circulated coins luster they should not have. Possibly that is what Clackamas1 was referring too?
