Good day, I'm in the possession of the above coin no 'D' or 'S' marking however the coin is back-to- front or rather up-side-down vs back to back. Can anybody shed some light on this for me please. Many thanks

Welcome to the forum
Would you supply a photo in front of a mirror so that we can see both sides at once.
That would better explain what you are referring to.
Indian Head top and buffalo shape facing down on the back of coin
Basically if you flip the coin around the buffalo shape is up-side down vs mirror image of Indian head. Instead of both the Indian Head and the Buffalo body facing upwards (back to front) the one shape is in the correct and the other one minted in the wrong direction.
This is what the coin looks like back and front
That is correct then. All US coins are coin alignment.
I take it you are not from the USA .
Thank you for your feedback however the question still remains why the coin is not in alignment i.e. back to front images not in the same direction. Any reason for this. Many thanks
All US coins are this way, it is called coin alignment.
Oh okay, many thanks to you both. New field for me. Kindest regards
