Sterling traded for bullion

Working on having an estate sale at my mother's house. I found some sterling utensils I had not already cashed in. Went to a local jewelry shop I do business with and the owner weighed them and said it was $50 worth. I told him I would take rounds or cash and he came back an ounce round and an ounce bar. I smiled and said that will work.

    How much did the sterling weigh? Probably doesn't really matter if you were content with the trade.
