1921 P Morgan dollar - which one is the higher grade?

Che_GrapesChe_Grapes Posts: 1,884 ✭✭✭✭✭

All this talk from @bestday about 1921 Morgan’s has gotten me all hot and bothered (and somewhere my wife just rolled her eyes) but while we are at it:
I have a graded one 64, and UNLIKE my friend @bestday, mine is probably over-graded, and not under-graded…. Meanwhile I have another one that is NOT graded, would it grade any higher than 64? Inquiring minds want to know!

Not graded (but better??):

That raw coin is pretty banged up on the obverse. Those notches across the nose and the rest would likely put this coin at a 62. That's just my opinion.

The raw coin is a 62 based on the number and severity of hits on the eye brow, the nose, the side of the neck, and the lines across the cheek. The 64 looks a little rough but from what I can tell it's all light scrapes with little or no metal displacement.
