I planned a 4 day weekend so I could finally attend day 1 of the expo.
Fun and busy as expected

I did my usual window shopping and my usual eclectic interests browsing.
One of my best friends who I "accidentally" got interested in coin collecting and is now out of state has me searching for something he would like.

I got there around 2pm and it was plenty busy and I left about half an hour before closing.

Found a couple things I'm going back for tomorrow since I only brought a little cash today.
Had @dcarr set something lovely aside for me, I promise I'm coming tomorrow around 2p or 3p to get it!

Took a couple of error coins to the ANACS table to use my 2 free submission coupons, decided to do an image with one of them. I've never ordered an ANACS image before so that'll be neato to see!

Ran into a few folks from the Denver Coin Club which is always nice.

And...of course I gave out a couple of my Broncos coins to a couple lovely folks today too

Day 2...
Left this afternoon to drop off a few more things at the ANACS table.

Yesterday I went back and ran into an old friend who's really gotten into Morgans recently. Sent him to go check out the insanely lovely 1882 proof 68 Cam I posted above...he liked it, a lot

Stopped at Dan Carr's table and grabbed the Peace Dollar he put aside for me on Thursday...A creamy satin looking early strike. I love it! Also happened to have my Peace Dollar pocket coin with me for comparison, fun!

I also find Dan's pile of counterfeit Morgans quite fascinating and he gave me a little lesson on the two pictured below. Appreciate the learning always!! Thank you sir.

Spent some time checking out some other stuff I enjoy, like toners...A local Colorado guy named Chris had some lovely ones. He's not really a dealer and he comes to the shows and sets up wwith his fairly epic personal collection for sale.

Counterfeits...

My newest Peace Dollar...

Stuff at Chris' table I liked...

Oh I agree. Was checking out some stuff my buddy would like so I could send him some pics...I told my friend I'd start with around a $2200 offer if he ends up being interested.
I did have a good time! And I'm going back tomorrow...

I like that show a lot. Would have set up except that Colorado Springs was only a couple months ago. The October show falls on a holiday for me too. So 2025 I guess. Enjoy the show!

Color toned Morgans have truly gone up in price and I guess those prices are not a fluke.

I had an amazing time at the Denver coin expo. I was only there the first day on Friday. Chris' coins were really amazing, every single one of his coins had awesome toning. Here's a toned Mercury Dime I bought from Chris.

I'm not sure if any dealers other than @dcarr use this forum, but I'd like to give a shout out to Falcon Coin for the raw world coins, Classickidcoins for the 8 Reales, Bullion Brother for buying some coins off me, David from Artful Investments for the bulk world coins, Eagle Coins and Precious Metals, Erie Gold and Silver, Green River Bullion and Coins, Denver Coin Club, Northside Coin Club, and about a dozen other people I forgot to mention. I'm glad you had a good time at the show as well @Kurisu

The bourse was clean and well organized, the only problem I had was the very dirty bathrooms.

Some pictures of stuff I picked up (Not nearly as nice as the stuff @Kurisu got.
