Also found this good looking 1959 penny new to all of this in past month but addicted to roll searching. Love getting opinions of everyone thats been in the hobby for much longer than me learning alot.

If I had a penny for every 1969 s posted by people hoping they had a doubled die, I could buy a real one with the proceeds.
Yup, it made my decision to stay with just wheats much easier, although I was surprised that a decent looking lightly circulated 1969-S DDO went for 13,000 this week.> @DCW said:

@Slade01
That really was a deal. I agree that they rarely appear below $20k, and I don't find that example unappealing at all.
Of course, I'd spend my twenty thousand dollars elsewhere, but to each his own.

Yeah, I was looking at it as a filler, but I would have easily gone to 15, could have turned it over when I find one that I actually want. Agreed, considering the available supply it was cheap.
But then I was too busy with other stuff, another day another coin, or perhaps 5 this morning from Heritage.

Both not in best of shape but just normal wear or anyone else think doubling of S?
Just looks like normal circulation from where I sit. No doubling in my opinion.

No.
Does anyone else see the giant toe in the upper RH corner of the 1st picture or is it just me and my middle school teacher brain?
Here is another tip since you are looking for them, use a good free Internet resources to help with DDO/DDR/RPMs: http://varietyvista.com/index.htm

You could have gotten quite a bargain this past Sunday, GC had a PCGS AU55 that went for 13,000 + BP, which is the cheapest one in AU has gone for in some time. I've been buying too much other stuff so I dropped out at 8,000 and really expected it to go over 20. https://www.greatcollections.com/Coin/1556663/1969-S-Lincoln-Cent-Doubled-Die-Obverse-PCGS-AU-55-BN
It's not very appealing. No wonder it went cheap.
