optional cards in sets

After months waiting and many emails to PSA they finally added my cards to the registry only to find they are all optional to the superset. This is the final straw I am ending this collection here. I don't even know what to say anymore.
These items are optional and are not used to calculate the grade or the completion percentage of the set.

They are only optional till after the awards go out for sets. After that then they will be required. This was brought up in another post and someone from PSA actually confirmed this.
