According to the paper, they chose a September date so they would only miss one paycheck, and it would hit the owners hard by losing two weeks of baseball during pennant races.

I say The fans start a strike date on July 23, 2002...That way the players will miss a bit more than one paycheck....

It really sucks how players complain about there money when its the fans that pay them....I have a feeling that if players go on strike it will make a noticable difference next season......May not be a huge difference but at least a little one.....
