This stamp popped up in my collection. I can't believe how one stamp generates so much historical background. Kind of amazing. I was going to regale you with the history surrounding this time period in Fiume/Rijeka. After about 10 paragraphs I realized it was too much for the forum. If you get a chance, look up what was going on in this region in 1918.
