Happen to have a picture of all of them side by side? That would be an amazing sight!
Congrats!!!
Nice!
That’s a beautiful example. Ranking above Hansen on a hugely competitive set like this is quite impressive!
great date great looking coins - congrats
Congratulations that’s quite an achievement!
Congratulations on a gargantuan achievement that must be very exciting.
And this is exciting for me, too, as I don’t think I’d previously used “gargantuan” in a post before. 😉 But it fits!

Back in 1986 I did an appraisal on a group of Double Eagles in Chicago that totaled 1,075 pieces. It had been assembled by the owner's Grandmother (or Great-Grandmother?) just before the Gold Surrender Act went into effect in 1933.
According to the young lady with the coins the ancestor went to many different banks in Chicago and bought $500 worth of $20's at each. She then took them home and sewed them into heavy felt pads in five rows of five. They were still in the felt, and I got to cut them out and tube them. One pad might have 25 Gem BU 1923-D's, if that is what one bank had, while the next might have 25 well-circulated mixed Liberty's, if that is what another bank had. BU groups included 1904, 1907 Lib, 1907-D, 1908 NM, 1923-D (several) 1924 and 1927, IIRC. Most of the BU's had a beautiful light green toning from the felt.
One pad, though, was all mixed up, and may have been the last pad she assembled before she could no longer get gold from the banks. She must have bought some from a local coin dealer, because in it were a 1929, a 1930-S, at least one 1931 but I can't remember which, though there might have been both a P and a D, and a 1932. I was hoping for a 1933, but it didn't happen. Probably a good thing, as I might have died on the spot!
We bought the deal and dispersed it at the ANA in Milwaukee. It is possible that one of your coins came from this hoard.
The lady said that her two siblings had equal groups and that she would tell them about us, but they never showed.

Huge congrats! What a great accomplishment! Perseverance pays off!
It would be great to see your banknotes as well. 100 Greatest sounds like an excellent collection!
Congratulations!

It must have taken a Herculean effort to put that set together. Like Mark I don't think I've used the word Herculean in any prior post.
Congratulations!
congrats!

The 1933 is in the EliteCollection which may be the best single set collection ever formed.
But so very close, at least from a Weighted GPA perspective!
Calling @EliteCollection, as well as @DLHansen who is competitive as well
I am working on adding a major section to my website to cover my Banknote collection(Not a lot of time available lately). The highlight will be my 100 Greatest notes. I will post here when it reaches a point worth showing.
