U.S. Coin Forum vs. Q & A Forum

What's the difference between these two forums? Should the Q & A Forum just be used for PCGS questions? That's what it says. It looks like it's being used for everything but PCGS questions and answers. It looks similar to what's being posted in the U.S. Coin Forum. What am I missing here or doesn't it matter.

I think it was set up supposed to be "Ask PCGS a question - presumably about PCGS and the things PCGS are doing, rather than the price of eggs or what have you - and PCGS representatives will try to answer".

But newbies coming onto the forum come onto the main menu, see a great big "Q & A Forum" sign and assume any questions they have about coins are supposed to go there if they want answers. Meanwhile, the mods can't be bothered shutting down or moving the non-PCGS-related threads.

I don't know what it's like - I've never looked in the Q & A Forum, since I'm not PCGS and I have no questions about PCGS.

Have you tried posting this question in the Q & A Forum? ;)

Thanks for that reality check. I thought it was just me. I don't look at or monitor the Q & A Forum either.

Good point about asking the question in the Q & A Forum. They would probably never answer it!

Q&A Forum is for questions and answers.

US Coin Forum is for arguments.

    :*

But seriously, there are lots of newbies who post to the Q&A Forum so people should check there once in a while if they want to help.
