What to do with some of my Morgans

WALLEWALLE Posts: 253 ✭✭✭✭

I was going through my box of (40 or so) Morgans my mother gave me years ago wondering what to do with them. I found 4 of them in pretty good shape (1887-P, 1921-D, 1921-S,1885-O) and thought I always wanted to get a Carson City coin as I don't have one in my collection. With that in mind, I thought, let's put together a Mint and mintmark set, I just needed a CC and a W for the 6 mints (less the C Charlotte NC and D Dahlonega GA that did just gold) I put them in a blank Dansco page to go along with all my other Dansco albums. I Picked up a 1883 CC and a 2007 W ASE, just thought I would share the completed page.

Thank You, i try to put as much as I can in album's as it allows me to pull them off the shelf and look at. All my proof coins are done this way.

That's an interesting page. The large windows allow for usage without having fingerprint (smudge) marks on the coins from having to push them in.

You’ve done great so far. But you asked what you should do with some of your Morgan’s?

Ship them to me at no cost for the coins, of course. I’ll cover the shipping, lol 😆

    Great Collection!
    Just my opinion.
You might want to hold on to them?
Recently, it appears for the popular Morgan Dollar, to be rising in value!
